The inhabitants of the Ha-Tsun Valley has been
removing away all day with their effects in the direction of
Chinese territory. When questioned they give different reasons,
Some say they are afraid of Tang-Yik-Ting and Tang-Ying-San
and others say the Tung Kun men will make an attack in this
Valley within the next two or three days (reported under date
of Tuesday, 9th. instant).
The exodus of the villagers has ceased. The majori-
ty of them having left(reported under date of Thursday, IIth.
